Cancellation & Refund Policy

Reservations can be made on our website at or by contacting the Reservation Office at 888-611-0747. All reservations require payment in full at time of booking via MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

Cancellation Notice

Reservations must be changed or cancelled by 5:00 p.m. three days prior to the scheduled activity in order to receive a refund. (Example: cancel or change by 5:00 p.m. Monday for a reservation scheduled for Thursday.) All reservations made within three days of the activity date are non-refundable.

Customers may cancel or change their reservations on our website at or by contacting the Reservation Office at 888-611-0747. Reservations cannot be cancelled at location Ticket Offices.

Cancellation Fees

Tour cancellation fees are $5.00 per seat. Return trip ticket cancellation fees are $2.00 per ticket. Watercraft rental cancellation fees are $10.00 per watercraft. All cancellation fees are withheld from the refunded amount.


Refunds will be processed using the same tender received for payment. Credit card information is not retained in the reservation system and is required to process all cancellations online or by phone. All refunds are processed the day received however, due to customer bank processing it may take up to 14 days to appear on bank statements.

Location Arrival Times

Customers with tour reservations should pick up their tickets at the location Ticket Office at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure, boarding will begin 15 minutes prior, seats will be forfeited 10 minutes prior to departure. In the event of a late arrival due to extenuating circumstances, the Location Manager may offer the next available tour with space available as a “replacement.” A “replacement” tour will not be offered once the original scheduled date has passed unless the missed tour was the last tour of the day. No refunds will be given for missed tours.

Customers with One-way Return Ticket Reservations can either pick up tickets prior to hiking or be prepared to show their confirmation, printed copy or screenshot, to the boat captain prior to boarding. Unclaimed return trip tickets will be forfeited. No refunds will be given for missed return trips.

Customers with Watercraft Rental Reservations should arrive at the Ticket Office at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their scheduled rental time. Rentals will be held for 30 minutes past the reserved time, customers arriving after that time will be accommodated on a first come first served basis.

Extreme Weather Events

In the unlikely event a tour is cancelled due to extreme weather or mechanical issues, full refunds will be issued at the Ticket Office and cancellation fees will not apply. Customers with return trip tickets that are affected by a cancelled tour will also receive a full refund at the Ticket Office and cancellation fees will not apply.

If the Location Manager cancels watercraft rentals due to extreme weather or mechanical issues, customers with reservations may have the opportunity to reschedule their rental reservation to a later time or date or receive a full refund at the Ticket Office. Customers are encouraged to dress appropriately for cool, breezy, or rainy weather. Unless watercraft reservations are cancelled by the Location Manager, rental watercraft will be sent out in all weather conditions and customers choosing not to take out their rental due to cold weather, rain, etc. will not be offered a refund.

This service is operated by Glacier Park Boat Company, a Concessioner under contract with the U.S. Government and administered by the National Park Service. The Concessioner is responsible for conducting these operations in a satisfactory manner. Services and prices are approved by the National Park Service.
