Glacier National Park has implemented a Vehicle Reservation system to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road (GTSR). Reservations for Lake McDonald guarantee entry to the GTSR on the day of your reservation. Reservations for St. Mary Lake at Rising Sun will only allow access to the GTSR after the entire road has opened, typically the end of June or beginning of July. While a GTSR vehicle reservation will not be required to enter Rising Sun until the GTSR is opened, current Park entry fees still apply.

To access the GTSR for reservations at Many Glacier or Two Medicine, you must purchase a GTSR vehicle reservation from the National Park Service. For more information on the vehicle reservation system at Glacier National Park, please visit their website at https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm
