Two Medicine Lake

Climb aboard the charming, historic vessel, Sinopah, the oldest wooden boat in our fleet. Relax and enjoy all this “secret” valley offers, take in the scenery while learning about the rich Blackfeet tribal history surrounding the Two Medicine area. Upon docking at the head of the lake you can choose to remain on the boat or disembark and begin a self-guided hike or hike with one of our guides to Twin Falls and catch a later return boat.

2022 Tour Pricing

* Optional guided hike to Twin Falls at no additional charge. Return boat times 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 1:15, 3:15, and 5:15 on a space available basis. Guided hikes will begin on June 18, 2022, all boats will dock at the head of the lake to allow passengers to disembark if water levels allow.

For transportation from trail heads to the main dock at Two Medicine, return trip tickets may be purchased at the ticket office based upon availability. Prices are $8.75 for adults and $4.50 for children. Return tickets are available for return boat trips only from the head of the lake, not up-lake travel from the main dock. Please check in at the ticket office prior to your hike to pick up your return tickets and to verify return boat times and information.

A reservation with Glacier Park Boat Company for Lake McDonald or St. Mary Lake at Rising Sun will guarantee entry to the Going-to-the-Sun Road corridor on the day of your scheduled tour. While a corridor reservation for Park entry will not be required, current Park entry fees still apply. Please be prepared to show your confirmation letter at the Park entry gate.

If you have a boat tour at either Many Glacier or Two Medicine and would like to travel the Going-to-the-Sun Road corridor, a ticketed entry reservation will be required. Watercraft Rental Information

Two Medicine Lake offers a variety of personal watercraft rentals. All rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis, reservations are not available. The minimum rental time is 1 hour. Life jackets, paddles, oars and fuel are provided at no additional charge.

* All motorboat rentals are subject to Montana State Motorized Vehicle use tax of 4%.

Reservations are available for a limited number of watercraft, reservations require a minimum of 2-hour rental and are available at 9:30am only. Rentals will be available on a first come first serve basis at the ticket office location.

The Two Medicine Ticket Office is located at the edge of the parking lot near the dock. Two Medicine Road will dead end at the parking lot. The nearest restroom facilities are located off the parking lot near the camp store.

This service is operated by Glacier Park Boat Company, a Concessioner under contract with the U.S. Government and administered by the National Park Service. The Concessioner is responsible for conducting these operations in a satisfactory manner. Services and prices are approved by the National Park Service.
