We encourage all visitors to Glacier National Park to help minimize impact on the Park’s fragile ecosystem by learning more about Leave No Trace. Leave No Trace is a framework of minimum impact practices for anyone visiting Glacier National Park. You can help to reduce your impact by learning the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace Ethics before your visit. This information is available on the Glacier National Park website or by visiting the Center for Outdoor Ethics’ Leave No Trace website.

There are a number of ways to minimize your environmental footprint, here is a short list of some of Glacier Park Boat Company’s practices to ensure we do our part in Glacier National Park and the world surrounding:
• Practice recycling and waste-reduction company wide.
• Utilize water and energy conservation methods

• Actively engage in litter abatement around each of our 5 operations in the Park
• Work to reduce the threat of invasive species in the lakes and surrounding areas of the Park. Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers!
• Purchase Verifiable Emissions Reduction certificates (VER’s) for fuel and other non-renewable energy use.
